What is Minoxidil shedding
This is one of the most used medication for hair fall. When we talk about Minoxidil medication, this is one of the US FDA approved medication, which is widely used. This medication most patients use, without dermatologist prescription and then they encounter with so many side effects. Make sure don’t follow any medication blindly without dermatologist concern. Minoxidil is having different %, (from 2% to 10%) depending on the patient’s hair condition only should be used. No overdosage of the medication should be used, without your doctor’s consultation.
During pregnancy this medication should not be prescribed, make sure if you see a dermatologist you need to inform them about it. Initially, the doctor starts with low % of these medications, but as you progress with the result then your dermatologist may increase the medication dosage.
There are few common side effects of Minoxidil are:

- Breast tenderness
Minoxidil shedding is normal to develop increased hair shedding within days of starting minoxidil. It is seen people panic when they experience the shedding period hair loss, because of which they stop using this medication. It’s completely wrong to stop suddenly this medication without your dermatologist knowledge. In shedding period the weak and dead hairs fall down and then new hairs grew back. You need to understand that your hair will grow in complete cyclic order and hair has to pass each stage and it see on the surface. After minoxidil usage, it takes 4 months to see results.
