  • Medicated shampoo can be used, but make sure when you are using it, check for ketoconazole, salicylic acid, selenium sulfide contents in the shampoo.
  • In case still you don’t get results then meet a dermatologist and your doctor might give you corticosteroid lotion or shampoo to apply.
  • You can use the shampoo less often once your symptoms improve, but your dandruff will probably come back if you stop using it completely.
