PRP therapy for hair is a three-step medical procedure that is done to decrease the frequency of hair loss. In PRP therapy for hair loss, a person's blood is drawn, processed, and injected into the scalp to stimulate natural hair growth.

The platelet rich plasma therapy for hair growth injection triggers natural growth by increasing blood supply to the hair follicles which increases the thickness of the hair shaft. This PRP hair restoration therapy can be combined with other medical procedures for the effective growth of hair.

About Platelet Rich
Plasma Therapy for Hair

PRP therapy for hair is done in three steps –

  1. The blood is drawn from the arm and then put in a centrifuge machine that spins rapidly to separate all the fluids according to their densities.
  2. The blood in the centrifuge will be separated into three different layers by spinning. It is first spinned slowly for 15 minutes and then a faster spin is performed for 9-10 minutes. These layers are platelet poor plasma, platelet rich plasma, and red blood cells.
  3. The platelet rich plasma is drawn into a syringe and injected into the portions of your scalp that need hair growth.

OUR RESULTS
ARE THE GOLD STANDARD

“Hi, I am a 40 year old male who has been suffering from pattern baldness since my 30s. Due to various responsibilities like career, family, children, loans etc. I was not able to treat my hair loss. I just ignored it. However, more and more people started commenting about my baldness and it was a source of major insecurity. Finally, I was researching on Youtube and came across Dr Dhananjay Chavan's video about the topic, he seemed very knowledgeable and I knew that I had to consult with him. I am very happy about my transplant results and glad that I took this step.”
